As a committed SME, we are aligning our operations with the global goal of limiting warming to 1.5°C by 2030, in line with the Paris Agreement.

The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) leads the charge in guiding businesses to establish emissions reduction targets in sync with prevailing climate science. This initiative is a collective effort of the CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, the World Resources Institute (WRI), and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), and it plays a pivotal role in steering global efforts to limit the temperature rise to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels as outlined in the Paris Agreement. Our SBTi-Approved Climate Goals
Our commitment to environmental stewardship is reflected in our clear and ambitious targets:
Near Term: By 2030, we aim to align with the 1.5°C target, focusing on a significant reduction in our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
Scope 1 and 2 Emissions: Linjeproff AS pledges to cut Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2020 base year. In 2020, our Scope 1 emissions, mainly from our owned or controlled vehicles and machinery, were 394.89 CO2e metric tons. Our Scope 2 emissions, from energy use in controlled buildings, were 1.603 CO2e metric tons.
Scope 3 Emissions: Additionally, we are dedicated to measuring and reducing our Scope 3 emissions, which include indirect emissions like business travel and waste generation.
This target was approved using a streamlined validation route exclusive to SMEs, reflecting our specific context and capabilities in the telecommunication services sector.
